Macintosh 8.x to 9.x Global Roaming Internet Access Setup Instructions Configuring your Global Internet Access connection is easy and takes less than 5 minutes. You will need one of our global Internet access numbers to connect to the Internet. If you don’t already know the number, click the Access Numbers tab on our website to search by area code or by state.
Entering Access Numbers: Enter the access number the same way you would enter it if you were dialing the number on a telephone. If you don't need to dial the area code, do not enter the area code. Entering Your Username: When you manually configure your connection, you must include the bdu/ prefix with your username. In the Username field, enter your username in the following format: bdu/username Connecting and DisconnectingTo connect use the Remote Access control panel. Enter your password there if necessary, and click Connect. Your computer will dial and connect to the Internet. To visit a Web page, open your browser (i.e., Internet Explorer or Netscape). To Disconnect, use the Remote Access control panel and click Disconnect. |
